Quality Assurance Scheme
This is a guide for parents seeking high quality provision for their children.
We can only be awarded a West Sussex Quality Assurance Mark by achieving and maintaining a very high level of quality provision. This ensures that your child will receive high quality care, play and educational experiences.
What does it involve?
All the staff in the nursery are involved in working through the seven modules, which are:
- Welcomes, farewells and transitions
- Working with parents, carers, families, friends and the community
- Meals, snacks and celebrations
- Playing and learning indoors
- Playing and learning outdoors
- Interaction
- Working together as a team
A verifier visits, observes and reviews the portfolio of evidence to ensure that the required standards are achieved.
