Staff Training
Our staffing is well above the required standard of 50% trained staff. In fact, most are qualified to Level 3, with BTEC Diplomas in Nursery Nursing, NVQ3's in Childcare and Education and Cache Diplomas in Nursery Nursing. All have taken a course in Paediatric First Aid.
Kitchen, baby room and senior staff all hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificates.
Throughout the year all staff are encouraged to attend ongoing training in Birth to Three Matters, The Foundation Stage, Inclusion Training and Playwork activities.
Carers without a formal qualification are either working towards them within the nursery, or calling upon their own valuable experience from raising their own families.
As an accredited 'Investor in People' nursery, we believe in the importance of encouraging our staff to continue their training and personal development.
