Woodstock Day Nursery
Woodstock Day Nursery is situated between suburban and commercial Worthing, near the Aquarena swimming pool and a stone's throw from the beach and Homefield Park. Woodstock's premises is a large detached house with ample grounds, converted into a homely nursery and regularly maintained.
Children attending the nursery live in and around Worthing and beyond, as far as Bognor Regis to the West and Brighton to the East, with families traveling in from Horsham and Storrington to the North. The nursery is easy to access as it is close to main routes in and out of Worthing. We opened in May 2000 and have 44 places available.
We understand that every child is an individual and will reach the Early Stepping Stones at their own pace. The Keyworkers regularly carry out observations and update the each child's Individual Development Profile to ensure that we are offering the experiences best suited to each child. As the children grow and progress through the different age groups, activities are offered to extend their experience of the world about them and to encourage imaginative play. Woodstock's garden has a large central grassed area and several hard play areas. Also in the grounds is a delightful log cabin for the children's play, a very large sand pit and a covered area for wet play.
You are welcome to visit Woodstock at any time. Appointments are not essential, but it does help us to ensure that we have time to show you the whole nursery and to answer all of your questions.
